Low Thermal Conductivity Wall Ties
Ancon’s low thermal conductivity wall ties can be used to reduce insulation thickness and wall footprint.
The Ancon range comprises BBA-approved high tensile stainless steel wire ties and the unique Ancon TeploTie, manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres set in an epoxy resin. The Ancon TeploTie has a thermal conductivity of only 0.7W/mK and is available to suit cavities from 50mm to 450mm.
New to the range, the Ancon Teplo-L-Tie provides a low thermal conductivity fixing between masonry cladding and an in-situ steel, timber or concrete frame. It is suitable for cavities from 100mm to 300mm.
New to the range, providing the same thermal benefits as the original TeploTie, the Teplo-BF features moulded safety ends that improve buildability and mortar bond strength, making it more user-friendly and suitable even in slow drying mortars.
Masonry support systems from Ancon can now be supplied with Thermal Breaks manufactured from a durable fibre-reinforced thermoset plastic, which has a thermal conductivity of just 0.3W/mK.
