ANCON has joined other leading Industry names including Arup and Mott Macdonald as a corporate member of the British Tunnelling Society.

Ancon designs and manufactures high integrity steel components and specialises in the fabrication of stainless steels. As a specialist supplier, Ancon has considerable knowledge and experience to offer fellow BTS members and the wider civil engineering community.

Ancon has an impressive international project portfolio in the tunnelling sector. The company has supplied support systems for fire-resistant tunnel linings, suspension systems for overhead smoke ducts and endplates for connecting replacement road sections. Major projects have been supplied both home and abroad including the Clyde Tunnel Refurbishment and the new Brisbane North-South Bypass tunnel in Australia. In addition to major road developments, Ancon has also supplied fixing solutions in cable tunnels and water treatment facilities.
