Logistics & Sales Support Coordinator

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Logistics & Sales Support Coordinator to join our team!

 

The purpose of this role is to arrange all export shipping and prepare all necessary documentation in support of each consignment. To process orders for our Products for Structural Concrete department and complete Certificates of Conformity.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Print WIP lists and review ex-works dates therein.  Liaise with Sales and Production to confirm despatch dates.  Notify appropriate carriers to arrange collection of goods
  • Produce clear and accurate documentation to accompany the goods.  This must satisfy the requirements of the relevant legal authorities, the customer and company policy
  • Issue clear and timely collection details to the Despatch and Production departments
  • Use the transportation services from approved suppliers in line with company policy
  • Under the guidance of the supervisor, compare prices and services offered by existing carriers with those of potential carriers, on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct Contract Review and advise customers of any errors in, or omissions from the order. Agree any variations to customer requirements prior to processing the order
  • Process orders using Movex software
  • Provide Production with check sheet at earliest opportunity
  • Maintain accurate records of batch numbers for Products for Structural Concrete (PSC) despatches to enable PSC team members to produce Certificates of Conformity

 

  • Abide by site H&S policies and procedures, with special consideration for safe systems of work and practices
  • Report any incident or any unsafe situation immediately to the first line supervisor or site manager
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
  • Where you posses the relevant skills and knowledge, or following suitable training, be flexible enough to perform any other reasonable duties in order to support the business

EHSQ Manager (Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality)

Location: Deeside, North Wales

The purpose of this role is to manage the SHE and QA functions in the Deeside factory and associated offices maintaining approvals via external audits. To actively lead and promote best practice at all times related to HS&E matters, maintain our accreditations to ISO45001  and 14001, driving cultural change and aiming for zero accidents.

In respect of Quality Assurance, maintain our accreditation to ISO9001.  Ensure that our quality systems support and align with our products and services so that they meet the expectations of our customers at all times. Where relevant ensure that we maintain individual product approvals.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

     Team

  • Manage your team ensuring that they have clear stretch objectives, are motivated and developed.
  • Liaise with all other teams, managers and Front Line Leaders to ensure our SHE/QA systems are up to date, relevant, complied with and developed in line with business needs.
  • Ensure cooperation and coordination with other SHE managers in Ancon Group and CRH
  • Report monthly on team KPI, conduct performance appraisals, manage performance issues, give monthly team briefings etc.

     Health, Safety & Environmental

  • Ensure our internal systems and teams fully comply with the CRH Life Saving Rules and we maintain our ISO 45001/18001/14001 accreditation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly KPI’s and statistics.
  • Ensure regular and effective communications via safety briefs, safety reps and engagement meetings etc
  • Prepare and distribute regular Health and Safety team briefings
  • Ensure we have an effective system for monitoring near misses and hazards etc., closing them out quickly and effectively
  • Carry out accident investigations identifying and resolving RCFA
  • Attend group meetings (UK and EU) representing Ancon as required
  • Ensure we comply with all environmental legislation including waste transfer, energy reduction and reporting requirements.
  • Run the company H&S representatives meetings and action any points raised
  • Ensure we have a robust system for logging SHE issues, allocating responsibility and closing out the actions
  • Ensure our SHE systems comply fully with all UK legislation and best practice.
  • Preparing and delivering training programs

     QA

  • Liaise with all operational departments to ensure technical guidance is communicated, maintained and  controlled within the quality standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all teams, production processes and products adhere to the appropriate QA standards and systems, by regular auditing
  • Develop QA/ manufacturing plans as required for specific products or special projects

     Other

  • Abide by all company polices relating to compliance and competition law
  • Contribute to inter-Co CRH projects as required
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks for which you have been trained and are capable.
  • Visit customer sites as required to investigate and resolve quality or SHE related issues

Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • Recognized SHE and/or QA qualification (min NEBOSH diploma)
  • Can demonstrate extensive experience in implementing and maintaining SHE and QA systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, personal, written and oral
  • Competent in MS Office suite
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and work cross-functionally to identify issues and implement solutions and improvements

Job description

This is an exciting and varied role involving the delivery of Ancon’s brand and product marketing communications, from concept to execution and analysis, including sales/technical literature, web content, email newsletters, blogs, PR, social media, exhibitions, advertising including PPC, packaging, internal communications etc.

Duties include:

  • Working with subject matter experts, as required, to develop professional and engaging media rich content, supporting customer acquisition for lead generation and market positioning.
  • Maintaining and analysing the effectiveness of technically accurate, market-specific and integrated marketing communications and customer campaigns.
  • Production of regular marketing activity reports and trend analysis.
  • Developing and delivering a promotional schedule to drive product specifications and sales enquiries effectively, on time and on budget.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent and relevant usage of internal communications platforms and manage content.
  • Investigating and implementing the use of new digital marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Agency and supplier management to deliver results within budget, including graphic design, copywriting, translations, print, SEO, web development, exhibition build etc.

Essential requirements

  • Marketing degree or similar equivalent higher education qualification
  • Must demonstrate experience in a B2B marketing communications role, co-ordinating both offline and online multi-channel marketing activities simultaneously, ideally in an international Marketing Communications role.
  • Understand the relative positioning of the brands within different product portfolios and markets.
  • A proven record of transforming complex technical details into tangible selling points and relatable marketing content.
  • High level IT skills, including proficiency in full MS Office suite and ideally online content management systems, email newsletter systems and web analysis tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Ability to analyse marketing data and activities to translate into insight-based reports.
  • Strong project management, organisational, analytical and administrative skills.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities and an interest in the creative side of marketing that ensures a high standard of work is maintained.
