Modern Slavery Statement

Leviat welcomes the introduction of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act and supports fully all efforts to combat any abuse of human rights.

The Modern Slavery Act was introduced in 2015 and applies to all businesses that operate in the UK.

Organisations such as Leviat, with an annual turnover of £36m or more, are required to produce an annual slavery and trafficking statement.

Leviat is part of the global building materials group CRH plc that employs approximately 87,000 people at almost 3,800 locations worldwide. We abide by the guiding principles of business set out in the CRH Code of Business Conduct; a copy of this document is available on request.

As a UK operating company and part of CRH plc, we comply with Group policy regarding the Modern Slavery Act.

The full modern slavery statement, available to download below, confirms the steps we are taking to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking does not occur in our organisation and that of our supply chain partners.
