The Ancon ‘Wall Ties and Restraint Fixings’ technical literature has been updated this week and is now available to download here. Changes include,
New Products: The Teplo-BFR is a new basalt-fibre, low thermal conductivity, cavity wall tie featuring a plain end for resin anchoring into an existing structure – ideal for retrofit applications.
Product Modifications: The performance of a couple of products has been enhanced - Two-Part Ties are now Type 2 up to a 400mm cavity and all our Acoustic Tie variations are now Type 3. Full Tie Type information is available online. Additionally, our 25/14 Channel-Tie Restraint System is now suitable for use with SFS, timber or concrete frames and various insulation types including Class A1 mineral wool.
CE Marking: Following extensive independent wall tie type testing, performances are now declared to European Wall Tie Standard, BS EN 845-1:2013 +A1:2016.
