Low Thermal Conductivity Wall Ties
Ancon’s low conductivity wall ties can be used to reduce insulation thickness and wall footprint.
The Ancon range comprises high tensile stainless steel wire ties and the new BBA-approved Ancon TeploTie, manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres set in an epoxy resin. The Ancon TeploTie has a thermal conductivity of only 0.7W/mK and is available to suit cavities from 50mm to 300mm.
Thermal Breaks
Masonry support systems from Ancon can now be supplied with Thermal Breaks manufactured from a durable fibre-reinforced thermoset plastic, which has a thermal conductivity of just 0.3W/mK.
