Wall Ties
Ancon Teplo1 Wall Tie -

2D detail

Low thermal conductivity, basalt-fibre, Type 1 (heavy duty) wall tie for connecting the two leaves of a cavity wall. The material has a thermal conductivity of just 0.7W/mK. Standard tie lengths available.

Tie length is parametrically controlled. The detail includes a moveable heavy duty rubber ‘o’ ring drip and an optional insulation retaining clip.

The Ancon Thermal Windpost (TWP2) is designed to span vertically between floors, to provide additional lateral support for panels of masonry. It has been specially designed and engineered after extensive research and testing, with a variety of features to improve the thermal performance and repeatability of the junction. Supplied complete with end connections and wall ties. Product is UKCA and CE marked, designed to BS EN 1993 (EC3) and manufactured to BS EN 1090-1.
