Entire Ancon Bolted Couplers Range now CARES Approved

Leviat is proud to announce that the entire range of Ancon bolted couplers has now achieved full CARES approval, highlighting our ongoing commitment to supporting construction professionals in meeting the highest standards of compliance, safety, and performance across the industry.

The Ancon MBT ET Series and Transition Series couplers are now certified under both CARES TA1-A and TA1-B standards, while the Ancon MBT Headed Anchors now have CARES TA1-B approval. This approval covers both variants with and without a hole. With the hole allowing for positioning of the headed anchors on site to prevent plate clashes in congested areas. These certifications confirm that Ancon mechanical splicing systems meet the highest standards for performance, safety, and traceability in reinforced concrete construction.

As part of Leviat, a global leader in engineered construction solutions, Ancon products are backed by a worldwide network of technical expertise, innovation, and quality assurance. This achievement reflects Leviat’s broader mission to deliver trusted, compliant solutions that support the evolving needs of the construction industry.

“This full CARES approval across our bolted coupler range is a testament to the strength of Leviat’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities,” said Neil Loy, Commercial Manager for Rebar Splicing. “It reinforces our position as a trusted partner for safe, efficient, and code-compliant reinforcement systems.”
