NEW: Ancon Two-Part Wall Tie for Cellular Clay Blockwork

Ancon has developed a Wall Tie to fix traditional brick cladding to an internal leaf of cellular clay blocks with horizontal bed joints of just 1mm.

The new Ancon CCB4 is an innovative two-part Wall Tie, suitable for use in new-build houses and commercial developments. The flat inner section is built into the thin bed joints in the cellular clay blockwork. The cavity width is catered for by the length of the outer wire section, which is hooked into the inner section as work on the external leaf progresses.

This two step installation process eliminates any risk of injury to site workers from wall ties left protruding from the inner leaf.

Ancon has the most comprehensive wall tie range on the market. The Ancon CCB4 Wall Tie complies with BS EN 845-1: 2013 and can be used in line with NHBC standards.
