Staifix Super-8 Headed Helical Nail for Flat, Warm Roofs
New Product Launch
Helical nails from Ancon are quick and reliable fixings for use in warm roof applications. Unlike traditional nails, they rotate as they are driven in, inducing a self-tapping action and consequently do not split timbers or compress the layer of insulation.
Super-8 headed helical nails are designed to secure plywood/insulation composite roof decks to timber joists.
They are manufactured in three standard lengths which suit panel depths from 70mm to 156mm.
Super-8s should be installed at a rate of 8.6 per square metre, using a hammer. They are available from builders merchants and other specialist distributors in either boxes of 500 or bags of 25.
For more information on this or any other Staifix product please call Ancon’s Distributor Sales Team on the direct line 0114 238 1 238 or email distsales@ancon.co.uk.
