Part E-Compliant Remedial Wall Ties

Ancon has launched two new remedial wall ties, the ‘HRT4/R’ and the ‘Type A R/R’.

These products provide a cost-effective repair solution where one or both leaves of a masonry cavity wall have been built with either incorrect or insufficient wall ties.

The benefit of these ties over other remedial ties is that they meet the performance requirements of ‘Type A’ ties to Approved Document E, and are therefore suitable for use in internal separating walls of new build attached dwellings.

The ‘HRT4/R’ has been developed for use where only one leaf has been built and the ‘Type A R/R’ for where both leaves are built. In each case the ties are resin-bonded in the wall in 10mm diameter holes.
