Proud Sponsors of the Brick Awards 2018
As a long standing sponsor of the Brick Awards, Ancon once again joined the celebrations, recognising the global popularity of brick to acknowledge the winner of the ‘Worldwide’ category.
The winning project, Apartment No. 7, is located in Damavand, a small city close to Tehran with a landscape of mountains. The project is sited amidst residential areas steeped in brick history, making the material an obvious choice and displays an impressive brick-weaved four-storey high wall.
With Ancon’s outstanding achievements in growing sales across new and existing export markets, recognised by the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2015, we enjoyed seeing the stunning brick projects in the running for a prestigious Brick Award.
The Brick Awards, now in its 42nd year, is one of the industry’s most respected and well-attended events, and 2018 has seen a new record for entries with over 330 submissions by architects, developers, housebuilders, specialist contractors and manufacturers.
This year’s ceremony took place on the evening of Thursday 8th November 2018 at the Hilton Park Lane, London.
