Staifix HRT4 Acoustic Wall Ties

Wall ties must meet the acoustic performance requirements of ‘Type A’ as outlined in Approved Document E to be suitable for use in internal separating walls of new-build attached dwellings. With the launch of the HRT4 275mm, Ancon now has a Part E compliant acoustic wall tie for a 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm or 150mm cavity.

The HRT4 can be used with all approved robust details for cavity masonry separating walls thereby eliminating the need for pre-completion sound testing.

The HRT4 is a Type 4 tie suitable for use in external walls of domestic houses up to 10 metres in height. Wall ties manufactured by Ancon provide a solution for cavities from 50mm to 300mm in residential and small commercial developments. The range includes the innovative Ancon TeploTie, a low thermal conductivity wall tie manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres set in resin.
