Ancon Lintels are manufactured from stainless steel and do not require any further corrosion protection.
The standard range of Ancon Lintels is designed to suit the majority of loading conditions found in residential and commercial buildings.
Special lintels can be manufactured to suit architectural features, heavy duty applications and wall constructions not covered by the standard range.
Nexus Brick Faced Lintels, designed in partnership with Ibstock Kevington, offer a quick and simple way of creating deep soffits above window and door openings. They are ideal where speed is important - the permanently bonded brick slip facings, applied off-site, are manufactured from the same batch as the main brickwork providing a seamless blend meaning no compromise on quality or appearance.
Construction products which fall within the scope of a harmonised European Standard should now carry CE marking under the Construction Products Regulation. For lintels, the harmonised standard is BS EN 845-2.
Ancon will be launching its latest fixing innovations at Ecobuild 2018, including extensions to its unique Teplo range of low thermal conductivity wall ties manufactured from basalt fibres.
2017 was another busy year for Ancon, so in case you missed anything, our new products, approvals and company news are all summarised here.
