Ancon sponsor Concrete Society Awards
Ancon was a proud sponsor of The Concrete Society Awards Dinner which was held at The Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane, London on Thursday 17th November 2016.
Now in its 48th year of celebrating excellence in concrete, this prestigious event was presented by accomplished journalist, Kate Silverton.
As a manufacturer of fixings for structural concrete connections and a member of the Concrete Society, Ancon wanted to show its support for an event that acknowledges the importance and evolution of the concrete industry.
Over 400 members, guests and industry representatives attended the evening.
Concrete structures are designed with expansion and contraction joints to allow movement to take place.
Ancon KSN Anchors, in combination with Bartec Plus parallel-threaded reinforcing bars, simplify concrete construction joints.
Eazistrip Reinforcement Continuity Systems are designed to maintain continuity of reinforcement at construction joints in concrete.
Innovative and quick-to-install reinforcing bar couplers from Ancon replace time-consuming lapped joints and minimise reinforcement congestion in the gigantic concrete superstructure of Europe’s tallest building; the 87-floor, 462m high helicoidal Lakhta Tower in St. Petersburg.
Ancon is pleased to announce it has become one of the first businesses to transition its Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHS) to the new International standard ISO 45001:2018.
