Ancon to exhibit at Ecobuild and the UK Concrete Show in 2015
Ancon is proud to announce that it will once again be exhibiting at Ecobuild and the UK Concrete Show in early 2015.
Ancon will be exhibiting its latest products for structural concrete at the UK Concrete Show on 25-26 February 2015 at the NEC Birmingham.
At the UK Concrete Show 2014, Ancon launched its new CARES-approved Bartec Plus Parallel Threaded Coupler System suitable for fatigue applications, including major road and rail infrastructure projects. The stand also featured the KSN Anchor Reinforcement Continuity System for slab-to-wall concrete joints which won ‘Best Product in Show’ when launched at the 2013 Concrete Show.
To showcase our latest low energy and sustainable construction solutions we will also be exhibiting at Ecobuild on 3-5 March 2015 at the London ExCeL.
At Ecobuild 2014, Ancon launched its new low thermal conductivity restraint fixing, the Teplo-L-Tie, which features an L-Shaped upstand for connecting to steel, concrete or timber frames. This new tie was displayed alongside the original basalt fibre TeploTie cavity wall tie and our stainless steel wire ties, thermally insulated balcony connectors, thermal breaks for masonry support as well as stainless steel bed joint reinforcement and windposts.
Construction industry remains open. Manufacturing at Leviat continues through latest national lockdown.
The health, safety and wellbeing of all those who work with us and for us, as well as the general public, is always our No. 1 priority.
From January 1st 2021, the UK will recognise both the EU CE marking approvals, for a time limited period, and the new UK based approval system, which will be known as the UKCA mark. The EU will only recognise CE marking by EU notified bodies as proof of efficacy moving forwards. Leviat has been working closely with both EU notified and UK approved bodies to ensure compliance is achieved at the earliest possible opportunity and we can confirm that we have obtained all relevant certification.
